R&D Centre — From ID Sketch to Mass Production

  • Team：20 engineers covering industrial design, mechanical, electrical, firmware (C on STM32/ESP32), iOS & Android app development, and DFM/DFMA review.
  • Tooling library：50+ active moulds maintained, with a Monday–Saturday rolling prototype queue. New projects ramp without tooling bottlenecks.
  • Delivery standard：Full PPAP pack to OEM partners; firmware under Git with signed OTA; app published under the client's own developer account so brand ownership stays intact.
  • Typical timeline：ODM brief to pilot run: 45 days. Pilot to first mass-production shipment: 90 days.

SMT & PCBA — Surface-Mount Production

  • Line configuration：One Yamaha YS12 SMT line with in-line SPI, pre- and post-reflow AOI, and end-of-line ICT.
  • Precision & throughput：Placement accuracy ±0.05 mm. Peak throughput 120,000 placements per hour.
  • Component traceability：Every reel X-ray counted before loading; every board gets a serial number written to on-board EEPROM at functional test.
  • Recall granularity：A unit returning 18 months later can be traced — production log, reflow profile, reel lot — within 15 minutes.
  • Commitment：No outsourcing. Every PCBA in every shipped product is soldered, inspected, and tested inside our own factory.

Mould Injection & Tooling

  • Equipment：6 Haitian 120T–220T injection machines running ABS, PC, PC+ABS, TPE, and soft-touch overmould — covering every consumer-electronics housing need.
  • Tooling development：Tools cut by our Dongguan partner shop; validated through T0 → T1 → T2 → T3 with a CMM dimensional report at each stage.
  • QC standard：Cosmetic Class A parts pass 5-point inspection under 1000-lux daylight lamps. Rejected shots are shredded, never re-pelleted.
  • Tooling ownership：On ODM projects the factory holds the tool; clients can transfer after 2 years of continuous production — protects long-term interests.
  • Data point：Mould first-pass yield Q1 2026: 96.8%.

3-Stage QC — IQC, IPQC, OQC

  • Incoming (IQC)：Every reel, shell, and battery lot AQL-1.0 sampled against a drawing or datasheet before entering the line.
  • In-process (IPQC)：Roving inspectors audit 1 in 50 units at each assembly station; any station with two consecutive rejects stops until root cause is logged.
  • Outgoing (OQC)：AQL 0.65 Major / 1.0 Minor on finished goods, plus 100% functional test (camera resolution, Wi-Fi RSSI, battery ≥95% nameplate, over-temperature cutoff).
  • Failure analysis：Every DOA unit dismantled by the QE team; root cause written into process FMEA within 48 hours.
  • Data point：OQC pass rate trailing 12 months: 99.2%.
